Japan Medical Aromatherapy Association (JMAA) is a non-profit organization that aims to educate, spread and research medical aromatherapy. JMAA works to educate and disseminate medical aromatherapy through events, schools, volunteer activities, and the Internet, and publishes research results in newsletters, e-mail magazines, and blogs. Products commercialized as a result of the research are sold by Pharma Co., Ltd., and the proceeds are used for JMAA's activities. The Japan Medical Aromatherapy Association is an organization that practices medical aromatherapy, which is recognized as a medical treatment in France and Belgium, and is different from the British style aromatherapy, which has recently become popular.

Medical aromatherapy is a treatment that uses essential oils (essential oils) and can be used as a treatment when used in high concentrations by the therapist, and can be used in a variety of ways from health care to life for the general public. Our medical aroma does not include the concept of massage. The concept is that the healer prescribes the essential pharmacological effects of essential oils.
