Expected effects Learn about how to use medical aromatherapy for dogs and cats and skin diseases

overview

This program introduces medical aromatherapy by Dr. Shoichi Yoshida, Chairman of the JMAA Board of Directors, which systematizes the use of essential oils in pets, a difficult topic worldwide.

We will learn a wide range of topics, from the basics of essential oils to pathology and pharmacology, and share care methods that can be safely implemented at home.

1:30 PM - 2:30 PM
"What is Pet Medical Aromatherapy?"

JMAA's medical aromatherapy differs from typical aromatherapy for relaxation in that it emphasizes immediate, effective use based on Western medical evidence and has developed care methods that are useful at home.

We will provide a condensed explanation of its background and philosophy.

3:00 PM - 4:00 PM
"Common Dog Illnesses by Age and Treatments"

Pets are susceptible to skin conditions similar to those of humans, and the medications they use are primarily human-based. Therefore, it is important to understand human illnesses in order to understand their mechanisms of action.
In Part 2, we'll learn about common illnesses in dogs by age and how they can be treated with medical aromatherapy.
