The Japan Medical Aromatherapy Association (JMAA), a non-profit organization, was established on June 1, 1995.
Our approach to medical aromatherapy involves formulating formulations that utilize the components of essential oils like medicine.
Therefore, dilution with carrier oils does not allow for skin penetration, and we consider it to be a healing effect through fragrance, not a treatment.
Furthermore, when mixing essential oils with water, we do not emulsify the essential oils with ethanol!
*The molecular weight of carrier oils is approximately 1000. The molecular weight of essential oils is at most 350.
To create a formulation that considers both skin penetration and the pharmacological effects of essential oils, the molecular weight must be 500 or less.

*Ethanol promotes a chemical change called esterification in essential oils, changing them from pharmacological effects to a pleasant fragrance.

We are engaged in activities to promote and spread awareness of medical aromatherapy.
We do not sell medical aromatherapy (for human use) products, so please participate in our hands-on workshops where you can make your own products.
Participation is free! Only the cost of materials is required.

Dog soap and paw cream are available for purchase.

We offer one-on-one medical aromatherapy instructor training courses.

After obtaining your qualification, there are no annual or monthly fees, so please rest assured.

★For Intermediate and Beginner Courses

For full cancellations after reservation confirmation (payment received, textbooks ordered), we will refund the amount minus the textbook fee.

Please note that no refunds will be given for cancellations without prior notice.

★For Certification Courses

・10 days to 1 week prior: 5,500 yen

・6 days to 2 days prior: 50% of the course fee

・The day before or the day of: 100%

・If the venue is a rental space, + rental fee

*Date changes are free of charge once (rental fee required). In this case, please make a reservation within 3 months.

(Note) If we do not receive a reservation after 3 months, we will charge you 5,500 yen. ★For single-session workshops (such as beauty seminars or soap-making classes):
* Free cancellation up to 10 days prior (we will refund the amount minus the bank transfer fee).
* 100% cancellation fee from 9 days prior to the day of the workshop (no refunds will be given).

[Cancellation of Workshop]
If a workshop is cancelled due to the instructor's circumstances, except in unavoidable circumstances such as the instructor's sudden illness,
we will, in principle, contact you by email or phone at least 7 days before the scheduled workshop. The full tuition fee will be refunded.
