I live in Uruma City, Okinawa Prefecture. My name is Takako Tokuchi. My encounter with medical aromatherapy I once suffered from cough asthma and used steroids for a long period of time. I also frequently used over-the-counter medicines, so I was very troubled by the side effects of the medicine. That's when I encountered medical aromatherapy and realized the greatness of plant therapy. This overlapped with the way my grandmother used to treat me with medicinal herbs when I was a child, and I was reminded of the greatness of the power of nature. Since I started using medical aromatherapy, I no longer use steroids, and I rarely use over-the-counter medicines. From this experience, I would like to tell many people who are suffering from side effects of medicine like me, what they can do before relying on medicine, and how to care for themselves before they get sick.
