In parallel with my main job as a chiropractor, I am also involved in educational and promotional activities, working together with the Japan Medical Aromatherapy Association, which advocates the idea that "everyone in Japan and around the world may become happy and healthy." As the name suggests, medical aromatherapy is not just about fragrance, but about using the power of essential oils to care for the body's imbalances before illness develops, and improving symptoms at the pre-disease stage as an alternative medicine. While fragrance and relaxation aromatherapy are mainstream in Japan, our association's aromatherapy is not French or British style, but rather uses pharmacologically effective components to directly introduce into the body for treatment, so the difference in effectiveness is clear. We create a recipe tailored to each individual, so it can be said to be our association's unique Japanese style of aromatherapy.
