What is Medical Aromatherapy?

Japan Medical Aromatherapy Medical aromatherapy from the Japan Aromatherapy Association (JMAA) is not about enjoying the scent through sprays or diffusers. Instead, it involves combining essential oils (determined based on their effects, components, and content) with base materials (gels, creams, waters, etc.) to target specific areas (body, skin, or mind) and symptoms.

These are primarily applied topically to the body, face, etc. More than just the healing power of scent, JMAA's medical aromatherapy offers home care for your body, skin, and mind, and can be kept as a household medicine cabinet.
