清華 佐名木I read "Atopic dermatitis can be cured by changing your moisturizing method!"

2025/2/2

I would like to introduce a book that I read and found extremely satisfying.

I read a book called "Changing your 'Moisturizing' can cure atopic dermatitis!" written by allergy specialist doctor Yasunobu Tsuzuki.
My reaction immediately after finishing the book was, "I'm so satisfied!"
When I thought about why I felt so satisfied, I realized it was because of the "good structure."
In the preface, there was a story about the struggles of celebrities with atopic dermatitis, and I felt that many people who suffer from the same problem would be able to empathize with it.
I also had atopic dermatitis on the inside of my elbows and behind my knees when I was a child, so it reminded me of that time. Fighting the itchiness was difficult. I'm sure there are many people who hear that the solution to their problems is "moisturizing" and think, "Maybe I can do that myself!"
The first chapter is about "moisturizing," which is written in the title.
I'm grateful that the part that everyone wants to know is given to them right away! If it's left on hold, it's easy to lose interest in reading. It's fine to skip ahead, but if you think, "Maybe something important is written before that!", you might not be able to skip ahead.
I too suffer from dry skin year after year, and change my skincare routine depending on my condition. I continued reading, hoping that maybe there would be a method that would help me.

Chapter 1 describes the need for moisturizing, the different types of moisturizers, how to use them, and how to apply them. In particular, the way to moisturize infants and young children is written in great detail, as there are many aspects that require careful attention.

I learned a lot from the way to apply it. It is a method called "marking", and when I tried applying it this way, I saw immediate results!!! It seems that I was not using enough cream. If you apply it by marking, you will use several times the amount before. A good rule of thumb is to place a tissue on the back of your hand and turn it over so that it does not come off. At first, I was worried that applying so much would clog my pores, but my whole body is so moist that I can see that even the parts that I thought were not dry were actually dry. The area around my mouth was particularly dry, to the point that it would flake, so I used to apply a thick cream. But now I don't need to apply a thick cream anymore!!! This successful experience made me want to read this book even more.

Chapter 2 introduces how to use different products depending on your skin type, and chapter 3 explains why atopic dermatitis is difficult to cure. Many people give up on treatment because it doesn't get better. However, if you understand the treatment and persevere, you will find that it can be cured. There were particularly some tips on how to choose a hospital. I think many people ask people directly or look for information on social media or the internet. This book explains what to do when doing so.

Chapter 4 covers the basics of atopic dermatitis. It's a topic that can be difficult to understand, but it's written in a very easy-to-understand way and has helped me to gain a deeper understanding of atopic dermatitis.

And the final chapter, chapter 5, covers current treatment methods and the future. Dr. Tsuzuki's thoughts are also written, which made me feel very warm.
