UV rays aren't just for beauty; UV care is also important for your body.

It's mid-spring, and the weather is becoming pleasantly warm.

Every year around this time, I consciously start focusing on UV protection and infection prevention.

There are various theories about the effects of UV rays on the skin,
for example, it's said that one reason why cold sores are more likely to appear after sun exposure is that UVB weakens the skin's immune cells.

UV rays are often associated with beauty, such as "preventing blemishes and wrinkles,"
but in reality, they can also be a source of stress for the body.

When age and hormonal changes are added to this,
effects that we hadn't noticed before gradually accumulate.

There are many reasons why UV protection is necessary,
more than can be explained in a single sentence.

However, we often simply memorize things as "this is how it is" without thinking deeply about it.

I learned the truth about UV care after starting to study medical aromatherapy.

It was a type of care I would have avoided forever if I hadn't known.
